Social networking icons in vector format.

Recently working on a website we produced a series of social bookmark icons for some of the favourite social networks.

As a promotion we think it is a great way of sharing the work produced.

The zip file contains 24 free vector based social bookmarking icons in an Adobe Illustrator .ai format. It has been kept basic so designers can take the basic shapes to create variations for their own projects.

Also included in the free download is the original flash .fla file. These are the glassy effect icons and could be useful for Flash projects.

Why vectors?

This is mainly useful for designers and artists who are looking for a vector version of icons so they can scale to any size without loss of details. Artists could then adapt and create their own versions.

A major feature for web sites and blogs today is the ability to easily bookmark or share content on popular social media platforms. Your website visitors should be able to easily share  with their favoured social bookmarking services.

A great visual way is to use icons when linking to social media sites. They grab your visitors attention and the logos / icons  are immediately recognizable.

Many social bookmark services encourage users to organize their bookmarks with informal tags.  A great way to promote your WordPress blog.

Flash Social Bookmarking Graphics

Also included in the zip file is the original Flash .fla file. This file has all the icons along with the glossy layers. I’ve added this as it is useful for any Flash development.

The vector graphics were created originally in Flash, and then exported to Illustrator (without the glassy effect layers).
